Those musicians that inspire me most have their own category further below. For me Amanda Palmer, the Foo Fighters, Sigur Ros and Aerosmith are bands of a higher league.

Here you find a selection of my favorite songs from female singers. Among others I really like music from Kristin Hersh, Tanya Donelly and Loreena Mckennitt. Adele, Katie Melua and Maria Mena are also represented. Mary Timony is another great female songwriter with romantic and melodic tunes.

Very often I like the combination of an acoustic guitar with violin and a beautiful voice.

I really enjoyed the period of Britpop with some fantastic bands like Kula Shaker, Oasis, Blur, Suede, Shed Seven and others. The concerts were great and I liked that style of music!

Here you find some music with classic elements. Especially I like the violin, but also more dynamic songs from Apocalyptica, David Garrett and Zoe Keating I really enjoy!

Aerosmith! What a great band! Still active! Never dying! There concerts are very energetic and highly recommended!

Amanda Palmer is one of my favorite singers! Great live shows and great performance in old times with The Dresden Dolls! Amanda is very entertaining and spontaneous with lots of surprise moments. Her concerts are highly recommended!

Bjoerk is very extravagant, but I like her music and appearance! She is one of the most famous persons from Iceland and is still active on various fields, including art, poetry and music!

The Foo Fighters is a great rock band with Dave Grohl as the charismatic lead singer and drummer! Some of their songs are really great and nice to hear over and over again.

Sigur Ros is a great band from Iceland with extraordinary live performance! This fantastic music with  "Jónsi" Birgissons special voice made Sigur Ros to one of the most successful bands from Iceland. Usually all concerts are sold out very early.
